Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Henriques started the match with the kick off. Rui Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfredo Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Henriques's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Hamilton Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fábio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Leite lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Fábio Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Andrade in the 30th minute of the match. If Manuel Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Parede got a freekick which was hit by David Pinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamilton Branco in the 45th minute of play forced Parede's goalkeeper Fábio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Paiva in the 52nd minute of play forced Beja FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Maia having to make a save. Caio Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Caio Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Maia having to interfere. A collision led to Parede getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. David Tavares hit a great ball. Parede's Fábio Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Parede from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Parede's zone, Hamilton Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Costa came out of the goal and Hamilton Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Ricardo Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beja FC's Alfredo Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Paiva in the 84th minute of play. When Telmo Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beja FC's protests and gave Telmo Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. Telmo Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Beja FC's Telmo Amaro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alfredo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Paiva in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Parede's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Andrade came free, but Fábio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Hamilton Estrela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parede the free kick. The Parede supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beja FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Beja FC.
