Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fábio Resende got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Fábio Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If André Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Carneiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Vale in the 24th minute of play forced FC Monsanto's goalkeeper Simão Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Moura didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Resende in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Costa saved Carvalhos from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, FC Monsanto's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Vale came free, but Simão Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Neves in the 37th minute. Simão Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vale in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, André Borba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Monsanto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carvalhos the free kick. In the 44th minute Alberto Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, Joaquim Neves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simão Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the game, Hélder Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Monsanto the free kick. The supporters of FC Monsanto booed when Carvalhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Fábio Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Monsanto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, Carvalhos's Hélder Costa got control of the ball when Jorge Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fábio Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hélder Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If André Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vale in the 66th minute of the match. Simão Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Hélder Costa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Monsanto's André Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Gustavo Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hélder Costa. The goal made the score 2-3. Alexandre Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carvalhos booed when FC Monsanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Santarém took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simão Moura. FC Monsanto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Monsanto's Alexandre Martins got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Alexandre Martins off the ground. The Carvalhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Monsanto's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Monsanto.
