After 16 played minutes, Carvalhos's Hélder Santarém shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bento Manso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carvalhos reached it. Bento Manso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vale in the 18th minute of the match. If Lourenço Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, SC Espeses's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Vale came free, but Bento Manso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Manso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vale in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Alberto Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bento Manso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquim Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. SC Espeses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Noel Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Espeses's Noel Luz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Espeses's zone, Hélder Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Manso came out of the goal and Hélder Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Luz in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Vale to make the kick off. Olívio Padilha kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Isac Sousa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Henriques got free with Bento Manso in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carvalhos's Cristiano Baptista got a free kick in the 72nd minute. SC Espeses's Bento Manso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Vale in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Alberto Vale notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of SC Espeses's Bento Manso. Bento Manso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Henriques couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carvalhos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
