Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Malhapao FC's Armindo Ramalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malhapao FC's goalkeeper Romão Raminhos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fundoais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Pedro Conde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Ramalho in the 17th minute of the match. Pedro Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Ramalho in the 25th minute of play. Catarino Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Daniel Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundoais's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romão Raminhos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Catarino Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fundoais's Pedro Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Ramalho in the 35th minute of play. Germano Simões hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Malhapao FC's Pedro Conde threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armindo Ramalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 55th minute, Silvano Leite sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malhapao FC's Romão Raminhos didn't even have to move. Malhapao FC's Armindo Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armindo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the game, Germano Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fundoais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malhapao FC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Fundoais got a freekick which was hit by Germano Simões. 74 minutes into the match, Malhapao FC's goalkeeper Romão Raminhos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Arruda. Pedro Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Romão Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Malhapao FC's Armindo Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Conde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fundoais's Pedro Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Ramalho in the 83rd minute of play. If Catarino Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hélder Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pedro Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armindo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Malhapao FC were the better team. Malhapao FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
