If Plácido Caldeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Vital fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Castanheira having to interfere. Daniel Vital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Plácido Caldeira in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Altino Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hélio Gusmão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Esteves made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Plácido Caldeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altino Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Daniel Vital left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC JETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Ronaldo Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC JETA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daniel Vital had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Esteves scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Castanheira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Altino Varela made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Valente. FC JETA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Altino Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC JETA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ortigueira the free kick. In the 91st minute, Durval Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ortigueira's Plácido Caldeira in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC JETA's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC JETA had won after a very even match.
