Lúcio Perdigão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Aveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Juvenal Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parchal and the Galafura players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Parchal getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juvenal Madureira hit a great ball. Rubim Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Galafura's João Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubim Ferro in the 16th minute of play. When Francisco Varela came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Parchal fans jumped to their feet.
