Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Coimbra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, SC Soltaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Faria to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Santos's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alexandre Leal on his right side and into the goal. 7 minutes into the game it was 1-0. André Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Leal having to interfere. Montijo's Gonçalo Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lúcio Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Amadeu Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Soltaria. Alexandre Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Correia in the 27th minute. Montijo's Amadeu Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Coimbra in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montijo's Gonçalo Assis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gonçalo Assis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Coimbra in the 37th minute of play forced Montijo's goalkeeper Amadeu Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Jaime Coimbra made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Pacheco. Montijo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Assis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lúcio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amadeu Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Pacheco having to interfere. Alexandre Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Correia in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Soltaria's Jaime Coimbra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeu Pacheco. That made the score 2-2 after 66 minutes of play. Gonçalo Assis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Daniel Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Leal. SC Soltaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Jaime Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Soltaria's Jaime Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, one of Montijo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montijo. The goalkeeper, Amadeu Pacheco, was totally fooled by SC Soltaria's Abel Delgado, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 92 minutes into the match, SC Soltaria's Jaime Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Adelino Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Montijo booed when SC Soltaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Gonçalo Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 98 minutes, Vítor Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
