Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Brito started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Almeida in the 3rd minute of play forced Crestuma's goalkeeper Sérgio Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sérgio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Carlos Brito made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Crestuma's Sérgio Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Sérgio Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crestuma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mondinense FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Crestuma got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Cardoso. Mondinense FC's Rui Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mondinense FC from getting a goal against them. Rui Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Vaz in the 29th minute of play. When Mondinense FC's Carlos Brito in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crestuma's goalie prevented a goal. If Daniel Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Brito struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sérgio Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondinense FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Brito during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Mondinense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Brito to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Carlos Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mondinense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Crestuma booed when Mondinense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rui Sousa made a huge save.

Mondinense FC's Armindo Paiva was substituted for Álvaro Guerreiro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Viana was the one to do the kick off. Crestuma's Carlos Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sérgio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Baptista having to interfere. Rui Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Viana in the 66th minute of play. Crestuma's Carlos Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mondinense FC's attentive Armindo Paiva managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Pinto made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Armindo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Baptista was a little too slow when Carlos Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 80th minute, Melchor Martxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rui Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Brito struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sérgio Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondinense FC. Mondinense FC played a much better game than Crestuma and deserved their victory. The Crestuma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
