Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicolau Gaspar kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Ruivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Claudemiro Vilaça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Baptista. Claudemiro Vilaça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Nicolau Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ruivos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolau Gaspar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ruivos's Julião Henriques got a free kick in the 19th minute. Domingos Belo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Crestuma's Xavier Vaz. But to his dismay, Xavier Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Vaz in the 23rd minute of play forced Ruivos's goalkeeper Domingos Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ruivos's Julião Henriques got a free kick in the 25th minute. Nicolau Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Baptista having to interfere. Claudemiro Vilaça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sérgio Baptista made a huge save. Claudemiro Vilaça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sérgio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolau Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Crestuma's zone, Julião Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Baptista came out of the goal and Julião Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Xavier Vaz in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingos Belo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julião Henriques got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Crestuma booed when Ruivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. From close distance Carlos Viana pressed in the 1-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 62 minutes into the game. If Claudemiro Vilaça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruivos's Claudemiro Vilaça got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Belo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Viana went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
