Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cândido Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Caldas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Araújo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimas Barroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Deltion Storm got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Lopes. José Camacho scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Caldas in the 22nd minute of play forced Deltion Storm's goalkeeper Cândido Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cândido Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Quintela in the 25th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Dércio Franco put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amadora United FC! Luís Queirós walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 33rd minute José Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Amadora United FC's Jorge Quintela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cândido Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th minute of the game Gastão Lobo made a throw-in which Jorge Quintela played forward. After having played for 43 minutes, Gastão Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amadora United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gastão Lobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Deltion Storm's goal looked a bit too open when José Camacho came free, but Cândido Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Gastão Lobo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adolfo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Barroso having to interfere. Cândido Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when José Camacho sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amadora United FC's goalkeeper Dimas Barroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If José Camacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, José Camacho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cândido Fernandes, 1-3. Paulo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dimas Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Amadora United FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
