Cássio Ruas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Óscar Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Misarela's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Moutinho came free, but Albertino Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romão Domingos charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romão Domingos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S.P.F NUNO getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Romão Domingos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Monsanto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albertino Miranda was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Misarela's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Moutinho came free, but Albertino Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Though ot was a great shot S.P.F NUNO's keeper Cássio Ruas was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 28 minutes into the game, Óscar Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio Ruas. Óscar Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, S.P.F NUNO's Óscar Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Misarela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Melo to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Ruas made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Humberto Silva sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Misarela's Humberto Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Misarela's zone, Óscar Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Miranda came out of the goal and Óscar Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Óscar Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, S.P.F NUNO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Ruas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octávio Fonseca hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to S.P.F NUNO getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Idalécio Eanes hit a great ball. After 67 minutes S.P.F NUNO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Coelho who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Misarela's Miguel Coelho to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio Ruas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Romão Domingos was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 minutes S.P.F NUNO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Coelho who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Misarela's corner Miguel Coelho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cássio Ruas quite easily take care of the ball. Humberto Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cássio Ruas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Ruas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 minutes of play, S.P.F NUNO's Eusébio Monsanto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertino Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! S.P.F NUNO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
