Nuno Vale was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lissabon FC's Marco Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Lissabon FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Dias in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Vale in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Mota hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Lissabon FC's Vítor Bessa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fernando Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eusébio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lissabon FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jacinto Henriques hit a great ball. SC Bailao's Eusébio Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Dias in the 38th minute of play. Cristóvão Mota's late challenge caught a Lissabon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Mota helped the player get up and apologised. Cristóvão Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Fernando Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Cristóvão Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Afonso Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eusébio Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Dias made a kick off. Nuno Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Dias in the 55th minute of the match. Afonso Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eusébio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Eusébio Lima successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eusébio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Dias in the 61st minute of play. Paulo Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Paulo Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bailao's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Viegas ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusébio Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Viegas in the 73rd minute. After 73 minutes, Rogério Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bailao and the Lissabon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogério Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Afonso Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Lima having to interfere. In the 80th minute Fernando Viegas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Vasco Fonseca's late challenge caught a Lissabon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Bailao getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vasco Fonseca hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lissabon FC's Ricardo Garcia got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Nuno Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bailao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lissabon FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
