In the 27th minute Henrique Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Amílcar Amaral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Chancuda FC's João Tavares in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Abrigueiro's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Jacinto Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Abrigueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Jacinto Bessa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amílcar Amaral, 2-1. João Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Tavares in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique Amorim to make the kick off. Cláudio Silva struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Amílcar Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Abrigueiro. If Cláudio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jacinto Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Cláudio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of João Garcia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amílcar Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Silva in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chancuda FC defense, Henrique Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílcar Amaral. The Chancuda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílcar Amaral should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, SC Abrigueiro's João Garcia got control of the ball when João Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Silva hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Amílcar Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Bessa in the 95th minute of the match. SC Abrigueiro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
