Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benedito Patrício got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Vicente Dantas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ozao's Maurício Bezerra didn't even have to move. In the 8th minute Inácio Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Cunha hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ozao's Adérito Souto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Valcerto. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Ozao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Valcerto:s goal. Vicente Dantas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Inácio Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Bezerra having to interfere. With a little luck, Ozao's Maurício Bezerra got control of the ball when Gustavo Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bento Domingues hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Joaquim Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Patrício in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, SC Valcerto's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Patrício came free, but Joaquim Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Matos having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Bento Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Valcerto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ozao the free kick. After 34 played minutes SC Valcerto got a freekick which was hit by Bento Domingues. Inácio Matos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Bezerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Inácio Matos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. Joaquim Matos came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ozao's Eurico Barros. But to his dismay, Eurico Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Eurico Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joaquim Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Matos in the 53rd minute of play. Ozao's Eurico Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Ricardo Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Joaquim Matos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute, Inácio Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Patrício in the 61st minute of play. If Eurico Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedito Patrício fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Matos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Patrício in the 94th minute of play forced SC Valcerto's goalkeeper Joaquim Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, SC Valcerto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Morais to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Patrício received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joaquim Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
