The referee ignored Lourinhal FC's protests and gave Aldaír Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Aldaír Costa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Xavier Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Madruga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Lourinhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Lobato to maneuver through the defense. Verdinho's Emanuel Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Fernandes in the 26th minute of play. The wind increased when Aldaír Costa made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Eusébio Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lourinhal FC the free kick. Eusébio Veiga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jorge Pereira got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Verdinho's Jorge Pereira got a free kick in the 56th minute. The long shot by Benedito Bento in the 57th minute really tested Emanuel Setúbal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lourinhal FC's zone, Xavier Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Rebocho came out of the goal and Xavier Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Cabral in the 61st minute of the match. Patrício Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldaír Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Patrício Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lourinhal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrício Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Rebocho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Xavier Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Patrício Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Lourinhal FC's Lucas Rebocho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Cabral in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Verdinho's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Costa came free, but Emanuel Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Xavier Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lourinhal FC's Lucas Rebocho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lourinhal FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
