Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Durval Teixeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Nuno Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sardinha's Sebastião Carmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josué Gusmão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Barcos FC's Viriato Macedo tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sebastião Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Fontes during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barcos FC's Manuel Fontes got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Durval Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Teixeira in the 25th minute of play forced Barcos FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Paredes might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Carmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Brandão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joaquim Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Nuno Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sardinha getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Josué Gusmão hit a great ball. If Durval Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Barcos FC's Nuno Araújo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sardinha's goalie prevented a goal. Sardinha's Sebastião Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Araújo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute Nuno Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Carmo having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Nuno Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sardinha's zone, Nuno Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Carmo came out of the goal and Nuno Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Barcos FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Dantas. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nuno Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Carmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sardinha's goalkeeper Sebastião Carmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sardinha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barcos FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
