Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Pinto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oliveira Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Budac, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Basílio Abreu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Luís Barros fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragões Espada FC's protests and gave Luís Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dragões Espada FC's Luís Barros got a free kick in the 9th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Redundo FC's Américo Barbosa tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Basílio Abreu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basílio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Pinto in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Redundo FC were awarded a corner. Américo Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Redundo FC's Hugo Baptista to fire away a dangerous shot which Basílio Abreu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eusébio Marques hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Basílio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bernardo Veiga sent off a good shot on target. After 28 minutes of play Dragões Espada FC's Luís Barros was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 29th match minute, Dragões Espada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Barros to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Redundo FC's Américo Barbosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dragões Espada FC's Basílio Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Pinto in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Dragões Espada FC's Basílio Abreu got control of the ball when Bernardo Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Budac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliveira Campos having to make a save. In the 42nd minute Joaquim Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dragões Espada FC's Eusébio Marques got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Dragões Espada FC's Basílio Abreu got control of the ball when Joaquim Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Budac was the one to do the kick off. George Budac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Redundo FC's Américo Barbosa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Basílio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Barros in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, João Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Almeida in the 73rd minute of play. Basílio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Basílio Abreu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Redundo FC's Joaquim Almeida. But to his dismay, Joaquim Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Basílio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Barros in the 86th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Redundo FC's Joaquim Almeida made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Redundo FC's Hélder Trindade got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Redundo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
