After 3 played minutes Oia FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Vilalobos. Daniel Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gastão Sobral having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Oia FC got a freekick which was hit by Octávio Portugal. In the 12th minute Daniel Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gastão Sobral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If André Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Marcelo Vilalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Vilalobos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, André Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gastão Sobral. Oia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. SC Carragosela's Simão Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SC Carragosela from getting a goal against them. Simão Amaral made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Marcelo Soveral sent off a good shot on target. André Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, SC Carragosela's goalkeeper Simão Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Soveral. After the first half SC Carragosela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Vilalobos was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Fábio Barbosa put in a rough tackle. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Carragosela! Simão Amaral went to the wrong direction when Alexandre Martins was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Marcelo Soveral hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Manuel Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Oia FC's Alexandre Martins tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, SC Carragosela's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Soveral came free, but Simão Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gastão Sobral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Carragosela's Gabriel Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oia FC's Raul Silveira got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Daniel Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Gastão Sobral. Oia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Vítor Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gastão Sobral made a huge save. When Jarbas Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oia FC's protests and gave Jarbas Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Oia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Valadares to maneuver through the defense. In the 92ndth minute of the game Marcelo Vilalobos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carragosela's Simão Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simão Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Soveral, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Oia FC's Gastão Sobral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Oia FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded SC Carragosela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oia FC.
