Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Artur Fonseca made the kick off which started today's match. Caetano Junqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Fonseca in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Germano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Geralda booed when VINGADORES.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Pimentel in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Pinho saved Geralda from getting behind. Severiano Castelo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Castelo Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Castelo Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Daniel Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Pinho having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Artur Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caetano Junqueira, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Fonseca in the 41st minute of play forced VINGADORES.FC's goalkeeper Caetano Junqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, VINGADORES.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Fonseca came free, but Caetano Junqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Pimentel to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Severiano Castelo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VINGADORES.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Castelo Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Vaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano Junqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Artur Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geralda's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Junqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, VINGADORES.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Carrasqueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, VINGADORES.FC's Silvestre Sacramento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silvestre Sacramento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VINGADORES.FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvestre Sacramento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Catarino Ramos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Artur Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Caetano Junqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geralda. Carlos Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Caetano Junqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Carlos Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Junqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Vaz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Junqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in VINGADORES.FC's zone, Artur Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Junqueira came out of the goal and Artur Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Artur Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Carlos Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Geralda fans cheered their team off the field, for while VINGADORES.FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
