Fábio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Valadão having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Fábio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Eido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Jacinto Guarda notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Boucinha FC's Filinto Valadão. Filinto Valadão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Ivan Pinhal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adelino Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fábio Neves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Filinto Valadão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Eido. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Neves was the one to do the kick off. If Jacinto Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filinto Valadão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Filinto Valadão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Guarda in the 61st minute of play. If Fábio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Guarda in the 66th minute of play forced Boucinha FC's goalkeeper Filinto Valadão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boucinha FC's goalkeeper Filinto Valadão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Boucinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filinto Valadão should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Guarda struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
