Eduardo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Manso in the 6th minute of play. Cláudio Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Emílio Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Corte-Real was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Emílio Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eliseu Corte-Real tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Brochado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Azedia FC's Bernardo Lisboa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Carapita. If Emílio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Cláudio Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Corte-Real saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Guerreiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Corte-Real having to make a save. David Manso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Carvalho having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Azedia FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Manso came free, but Eduardo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Macieira got free with Eduardo Carvalho in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Carapita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azedia FC were winning 0-1.

Paulo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Corte-Real having to interfere. Hugo Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Eliseu Corte-Real made a huge save. When Bernardo Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azedia FC's protests and gave Bernardo Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, David Manso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Macieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Cláudio Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 68th minute of the match Sabino Brochado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sabino Brochado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. Cláudio Guerreiros short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Eliseu Corte-Real to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cláudio Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Emílio Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rodolfo Macieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
