Thanks to some nice moves Cláudio Guerreiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Hugo Balsemão however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Emílio Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Balsemão was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Emílio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Balsemão having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Guerreiro got free with Hugo Balsemão in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Vale to make the kick off. When Paulo Neto fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azedia FC's protests and gave Paulo Neto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Azedia FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Paulo Neto hit a great ball. Hugo Balsemão came out of the goal and Bernardo Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azedia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sportlook had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
