When %teams%'s João Oliveira was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 5 minutes into the game. Nuno Coimbra was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 13 played minutes Gondivinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Porto. If Pedro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolai Keilow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Borges having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Olympique Marseille Club got a freekick which was hit by Rui Faro. Nuno Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Oliveira in the 27th minute of the match. Nuno Coimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Porto in the 28th minute. Catarino Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolai Keilow, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Pedro Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Coimbra. Pedro Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Pedro Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Marseille Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Olympique Marseille Club's goal looked a bit too open when João Oliveira came free, but Nuno Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gondivinho FC defense, Nicolai Keilow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Borges. The Gondivinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Borges should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nicolai Keilow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Marseille Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolai Keilow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th of the match, Pedro Alves tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Catarino Borges got in the way and made a wonderful save. Nicolai Keilow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Gondivinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Marques. João Oliveira took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Coimbra. Nuno Coimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Pedro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Daniel Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Marseille Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gondivinho FC the free kick. Nuno Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Setúbal in the 72nd minute of play. If Nicolai Keilow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gondivinho FC's zone, Pedro Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Borges came out of the goal and Pedro Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Gondivinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Setúbal. If Pedro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catarino Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolai Keilow in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Nicolai Keilow notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Gondivinho FC's Catarino Borges. Catarino Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Olympique Marseille Club's Rui Faro got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 98 played minutes, Gondivinho FC's Adolfo Setúbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuno Coimbra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gondivinho FC reached it. Gondivinho FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
