Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Revezes's Tomé Monteiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Revezes's Silvano Borba got a free kick in the 6th minute. Flávio Mota who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Catarino Borges when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Revezes's Tomé Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Catarino Borges. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Nuno Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Vides having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, one of Revezes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Catarino Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 24 played minutes Gondivinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Porto. In the 26th minute, Tomé Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catarino Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Mota in the 27th minute. Gondivinho FC's Catarino Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Gondivinho FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Tomé Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Borges was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When António Barata fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revezes's protests and gave António Barata a yellow card for diving instead. António Barata hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Nuno Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when João Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Mota in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Catarino Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Revezes's Mauro Vides got control of the ball when Nuno Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Revezes's Mauro Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Oliveira in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gondivinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Mota came free, but Catarino Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Oliveira in the 77th minute of play forced Revezes's goalkeeper Mauro Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Revezes's goalkeeper Mauro Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
