José Assunção took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Amaral. João Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Ferreira FC's José Assunção sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Amaral didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ferreira FC's Cristiano Dantas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Inácio Porto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eduardo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Cristiano Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ferreira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Dantas couldn't finish the play. Penegache FC's Afonso Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match, Afonso Bessa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuno Fontes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Penegache FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. André Matos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Assunção in the 44th minute of play forced Penegache FC's goalkeeper João Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ferreira FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 played minutes Penegache FC got a freekick which was hit by André Matos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Bessa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferreira FC's Cristiano Dantas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Amaral. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. Afonso Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferreira FC's Nuno Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Leal in the 77th minute of play. Afonso Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Fontes having to interfere. João Amaral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Assunção showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 87 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Afonso Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penegache FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ferreira FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
