Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Homero Figueira got the match started through his kick off. Quintino Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Vilas Boas in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Gusmão Laureano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nelas and the Canical FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gusmão Laureano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Maurício Taborda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homero Figueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Canical FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Evandro Vilas Boas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. In the 71st minute of the match Gabriel Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintino Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. Quintino Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Valter Santarém put in a rough tackle. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Nelas. Gabriel Vieira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Quintino Fonseca. 1-0. Rui Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Quintino Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Garcia in the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Olívio Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canical FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olívio Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canical FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
