Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Quinteiros FC's Bruno Carvalhais started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Vladimiro Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute António Gago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Lameiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Homero Lameiras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Ramos's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Ricardo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Homero Lameiras having to interfere. Hermano Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Carvalhais in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, António Gago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Homero Lameiras. Quinteiros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Gago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to SC Umbria getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Honorato Vilarinho hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Quinteiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Brás. After recieving a nice pass, SC Umbria's Hamilton Leão tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ricardo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Umbria's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Homero Lameiras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Mariano Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinteiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angélico Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Homero Lameiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Ramos in the 40th minute of the match. The Quinteiros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Umbria were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Gago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacob Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hermano Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinteiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Umbria the free kick. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quinteiros FC! The goalkeeper, Homero Lameiras, was totally fooled by SC Umbria's Hamilton Leão, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bruno Carvalhais charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Carvalhais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Carvalhais kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. António Gago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Homero Lameiras having to interfere. When Jerónimo Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinteiros FC's protests and gave Jerónimo Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Mariano Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ricardo Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Homero Lameiras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The SC Umbria players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
