In the 9th minute Idalécio Liberato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermano Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Ramos in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute António Gago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Ramos scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Gago in the 23rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, SC Umbria's goal looked a bit too open when Idalécio Liberato came free, but Hermano Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Honorato Vilarinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Umbria and the SC Reboreda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, SC Umbria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Vilarinho to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. António Gago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When Honorato Santarém came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Reboreda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Santarém couldn't finish the play. Honorato Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hermano Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermano Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hildeberto Azenha in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th play minute Ricardo Ramos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Prestes. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Idalécio Liberato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermano Andrade was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Ricardo Ramos in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Prestes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 80 minutes, Honorato Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Reboreda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Gago in the 85th minute of play forced SC Reboreda's goalkeeper Ricardo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Gago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Honorato Santarém cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hermano Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
