When Afonso Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Boieira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Macedo couldn't finish the play. Henrique Prates made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Macedo in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Afonso Macedo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Henrique Prates. Bamba's Henrique Prates proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Bamba from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Afonso Macedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Prates. Afonso Macedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Basílio Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bamba's zone, Afonso Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Prates came out of the goal and Afonso Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Alberto Leão from a close distance when the talented Henrique Prates managed to make a qualified save. Bamba's players were relieved. Henrique Prates made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Leão in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Afonso Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Henrique Prates to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alberto Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boieira's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prates breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Henrique Prates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Prates having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Carvalhal to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Boieira's Oliveira Santos got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, SC Boieira's goalkeeper Alexandre Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeferino Morais. Bruno Borba hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Afonso Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Boieira's zone, Ronaldo Carvalhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Azevedo came out of the goal and Ronaldo Carvalhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zeferino Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonso Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Afonso Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
