Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lúcio Costa got the match started through his kick off. In the 19th minute, Adelino Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Pires's late challenge caught a Reguengo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Pires helped the player get up and apologised. Reguengo FC's André Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Costa in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Humberto Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Assis having to interfere. The SC Mereces fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. One of Reguengo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Mereces:s goal. The referee gave SC Mereces a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Gaspar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reguengo FC's André Assis. 4-1.
