An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Pires in the 4th minute of play forced LUSITANO.F.C.'s goalkeeper Homero Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Rodrigo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Rodrigo Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Homero Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caio Eanes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. LUSITANO.F.C. were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ceissa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zeferino Durães took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Tobias Padilha heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Sílvio Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murilo Castanheira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Onofre in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of LUSITANO.F.C. booed when Ceissa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Caio Eanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceissa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUSITANO.F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Ceissa FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Caio Eanes hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Ceissa FC got a freekick which was hit by Julião Luz. Cristiano Onofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julião Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julião Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LUSITANO.F.C. booed when Ceissa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceissa FC's goalkeeper Murilo Castanheira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Câmara in the 52nd minute of play forced Ceissa FC's goalkeeper Murilo Castanheira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Homero Almeida was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Aloísio Caiado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aloísio Caiado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Gastão Camacho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, LUSITANO.F.C.'s goalkeeper Homero Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Alves. After a defensive mix-up in LUSITANO.F.C.'s zone, Aloísio Caiado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Homero Almeida came out of the goal and Aloísio Caiado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 70th minute of the match Julião Luz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julião Luz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Julião Luz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sílvio Câmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Castanheira having to interfere. Nuno Veríssimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Murilo Castanheira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Pires struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Homero Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceissa FC. A collision led to LUSITANO.F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nuno Veríssimo hit a great ball. If Cristiano Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ceissa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
