In the 5th minute, André Pedroso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Homero Almeida. The goal made the score 1-0. Alfredo Borba's late challenge caught a LUSITANO.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Borba helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Onofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Homero Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LUSITANO.F.C.'s Homero Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Nascimento in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Jaime Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falca's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Homero Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, LUSITANO.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. André Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Cristiano Onofre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUSITANO.F.C. and the Falca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristiano Onofre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Falca's Sebastião Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Onofre in the 25th minute of play. Homero Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Nascimento in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Falca booed when LUSITANO.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sálvio Antas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homero Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Pedroso in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Onofre in the 46th minute of play forced Falca's goalkeeper Sebastião Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Nascimento made a kick off. Homero Almeida came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Falca's André Nascimento. But to his dismay, André Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sílvio Câmara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sebastião Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristiano Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Zeferino Durães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUSITANO.F.C. and the Falca players grew even worse after the yellow card. If André Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Homero Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
