Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Peixoto kicked off to start the match. If Ricardo Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute João Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sidónio Vaz got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Geraldo Bragança was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Altino Assunção took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geraldo Bragança. Canhardo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Canhardo's goalkeeper Geraldo Bragança had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidónio Vaz. If João Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canhardo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Ponte 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game João Ponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canhardo's Geraldo Bragança was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidónio Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Bragança made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Ponte in the 38th minute of play. Geraldo Bragança was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Ponte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play.

The wind increased when João Ponte made the kick off in the second half. Sidónio Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Bragança showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Ponte in the 58th minute of play forced Canhardo's goalkeeper Geraldo Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidónio Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Ponte took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Bragança. Geraldo Bragança dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Lucílio Jesus's late challenge caught a Rossas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucílio Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute Rossas FC were awarded a corner. Altino Assunção went to the cornerflag to take it. Vasco Palha hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Canhardo's zone, João Ponte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Bragança came out of the goal and João Ponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidónio Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Geraldo Bragança tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, João Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Bragança was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Canhardo's Geraldo Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidónio Vaz in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute João Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidónio Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geraldo Bragança showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Ponte in the 93rd minute of the match. João Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Bragança having to interfere.
