After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Abílio Fiúza managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. do Velhote's supporters rose to their feet, but Abílio Fiúza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abílio Fiúza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Pacheco having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, SC Crastovais's goalkeeper Fabiano Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abílio Fiúza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Martins in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Bento to make the kick off. Abílio Fiúza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fabiano Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Isidoro Bandeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flávio Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abílio Fiúza in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Pacheco saved SC Crastovais from getting behind. Abílio Fiúza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Moniz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Roberto Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Crastovais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Moniz couldn't finish the play. Abílio Fiúza struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fabiano Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. do Velhote. If Aldo Pegado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Bento in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Crastovais players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. do Velhote.
