Heitor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Diamantino Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Heitor Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes SC Alcantara got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Andrade. José Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Porto in the 41st minute of the match. Jorge Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. José Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Estoris's José Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Porto in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Estoris getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Afonso Santarém hit a great ball. SC Alcantara's Lúcio Gueifão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Estoris. José Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Porto in the 65th minute of the match. Humberto Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Diamantino Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fábio Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Fábio Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SC Alcantara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Oliveira couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Diamantino Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Viana in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that SC Alcantara were the better team. SC Alcantara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
