Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lapeiras FC's Carlos Bezerra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pedro Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Mamodeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bezerra in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Mamodeiro FC's Cláudio Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sérgio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Bessa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hélder Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Ferreira having to interfere. Sérgio Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Domingues's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Sérgio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lapeiras FC's Sérgio Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Domingues in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute Mamodeiro FC were awarded a corner. Tomás Guerreiro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mamodeiro FC's corner Tomás Guerreiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio Ferreira quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastião Bessa made a kick off. Carlos Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Marques having to interfere. The supporters of Lapeiras FC booed when Mamodeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lapeiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Bezerra couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Cláudio Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamodeiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Godinho in the 64th minute of the match. Pedro Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Mamodeiro FC's Sebastião Bessa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Godinho in the 85th minute of play forced Mamodeiro FC's goalkeeper Pedro Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Veiga's late challenge caught a Lapeiras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Mamodeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Veiga. Filipe Veiga got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Mamodeiro FC's Filipe Veiga got a free kick in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Elias Godinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pedro Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
