In the 13th minute Vítor Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Coimbra having to interfere. Fábio Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Mota's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Pedro Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Gouveia in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Sebastião Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucílio Diegues kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Inácio Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Fábio Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Mota's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Gualter Gouveia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Mota was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Mota in the 51st minute of play forced SC Terroal's goalkeeper Fábio Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Romão Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Mota in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Montenegro saved SC Terroal from getting behind. Márcio Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes SC Terroal got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Neves. If Sebastião Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Gaspar Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Terroal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedro Coimbra was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Gualter Gouveia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualter Gouveia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gualter Gouveia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Terroal getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Márcio Neves hit a great ball. In the 99th minute of the match Curalha FC got a corner. SC Terroal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inácio Veiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Curalha FC's Lourenço Simões getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The SC Terroal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Curalha FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
