Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Aguiar's Basílio Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes SCU Torreense got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Almeida. Fernando Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Matos in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes SC Aguiar got a freekick which was hit by David Amorim. Luís Pedroso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. SCU Torreense's Fernando Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Matos in the 10th minute of play. Fernando Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Amorim in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Almeida during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, SCU Torreense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Almeida to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Matos in the 19th minute of play forced SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Fernando Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Covrig in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Paul Covrig managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCU Torreense's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Covrig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, SCU Torreense's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Baptista came free, but Fernando Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Matos in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Aguiar's zone, Paul Covrig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Domingues came out of the goal and Paul Covrig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, David Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fernando Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Matos went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Fernando Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Amorim. Fernando Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fernando Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Matos went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fernando Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Basílio Baptista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Viana. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. Paul Covrig struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. André Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCU Torreense. Denílson Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. SC Aguiar's Catarino Coimbra shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernando Viana but with some difficulty. Fernando Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Fernando Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Matos. After 97 minutes of play, SC Aguiar's Basílio Baptista made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Aguiar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
