Cristiano Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, André Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20thth minute of the game Gonçalo Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conchada FC's Miguel Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moura having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Conchada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Simões came free, but Miguel Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Conchada FC's zone, Cristiano Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Moura came out of the goal and Cristiano Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moura having to interfere. If Cristiano Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Vítor Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conchada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arnado FC the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Conchada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Guarda to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Cristiano Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cristiano Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Arnado FC's zone, Fernando Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Oliveira came out of the goal and Fernando Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arnado FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conchada FC the free kick. The supporters of Conchada FC booed when Arnado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Miguel Moura was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Afonso Lopes. 67 minutes into the match, Conchada FC's goalkeeper Miguel Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Simões. Miguel Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gonçalo Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moura having to interfere. Gonçalo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Miguel Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonçalo Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Conchada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Macedo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Gonçalo Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Arnado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Aleixo couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Arnado FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Conchada FC throughout the match.
