Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Assis started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Gueifão was a little too slow when Sandro Gentil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Baltaria FC booed when Constancia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Baltaria FC's Joaquim Gueifão got control of the ball when Sandro Gentil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Constancia FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Baltaria FC. Pedro Guarda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noel Santos. 1-1. After 24 minutes, Paulo Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baltaria FC and the Constancia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Baltaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Valente to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Assis in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Manuel Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Manuel Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baltaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Igor Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Constancia FC's zone, Fábio Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Santos came out of the goal and Fábio Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Manuel Assis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Baltaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Assis couldn't finish the play. Manuel Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Noel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
