Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gueifar's Rodrigo Barros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alexandrino Veríssimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moselos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandrino Veríssimo got free with Fábio Gaspar in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandrino Veríssimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Moselos FC booed when Gueifar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermenegildo Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fábio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moselos FC. Alexandrino Veríssimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Teves charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Teves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moselos FC! Joaquim Ferreira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. António Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Moselos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Seixas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermenegildo Loureiro to make the kick off. António Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lúcio Moutinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Barros got free with Lúcio Moutinho in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 67 minutes on the clock, Adelino Oliveira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th minute, one of Moselos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moselos FC. Lúcio Moutinho had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Joaquim Ferreira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alexandrino Veríssimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Rodrigo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moselos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Rodrigo Barros scored to the left of an out of position Lúcio Moutinho, making the score, 1-3. Gueifar's Rodrigo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Moutinho having to interfere.
