Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zeferino Mesquita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Afonso Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adoes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, Adoes FC's Gregório Ornelas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, José Pegado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cardosas's goalkeeper Paulo Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Joaquim Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeferino Mesquita in the 24th minute of play forced SC Cardosas's goalkeeper Paulo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Cardosas's Paulo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeferino Mesquita in the 26th minute of play. Paulo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeferino Mesquita in the 28th minute of the match. When Zeferino Mesquita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paulo Lima was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Carlos Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Vale in the 33rd minute of play forced Adoes FC's goalkeeper Alex Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Afonso Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregório Ornelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Afonso Guerreiro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Lima. 43 minutes into the match, SC Cardosas's goal looked a bit too open when Gregório Ornelas came free, but Paulo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Adoes FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Malta might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Malta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cardosas's goalkeeper Paulo Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Carmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Lima having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Guerreiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Lima. That made the score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. Gregório Ornelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paulo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeferino Mesquita in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Gregório Ornelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Guerreiros short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Paulo Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes into the match, Jaime Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Sesimbra. Adoes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Paulo Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gregório Ornelas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 97 minute of play. Adoes FC played a much better game than SC Cardosas and deserved their victory. The SC Cardosas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
