Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nélson Ruas got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Lázaro Menezes managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when piratux's Almiro Vides fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vicente Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, piratux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. Almiro Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Menezes having to interfere. Lázaro Menezes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Almiro Vides sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Rouqueira's Severiano Machado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, SC Rouqueira's Nélson Ruas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Raposo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nélson Ruas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SC Rouqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nélson Ruas couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Sandro Calado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. piratux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rouqueira the free kick. The supporters of SC Rouqueira booed when piratux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Calado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Veiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Raposo. piratux's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Julião Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sandro Calado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In the 37th minute, Sandro Calado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nélson Ruas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Raposo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Severiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Julião Cavaco struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Carlos Raposo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Rouqueira. With a little luck, piratux's Carlos Raposo got control of the ball when Julião Cavaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Rouqueira's Julião Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Raposo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nélson Ruas in the 77th minute of play. In the 89th play minute Julião Cavaco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Raposo. 1-1. A collision led to piratux getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lisandro Meireles hit a great ball. SC Rouqueira's Sílvio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
