Cristiano Soveral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Soveral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nélson Ruas in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Claudemiro Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Rouqueira and the Suimo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudemiro Peixoto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lázaro Menezes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filinto Valverde went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Palmiro Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Menezes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Julião Cavaco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Suimo FC's Cristiano Soveral. Cristiano Soveral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Valverde in the 44th minute of play forced SC Rouqueira's goalkeeper Lázaro Menezes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nélson Ruas to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes SC Rouqueira got a freekick which was hit by Américo Boaventura. A collision led to Suimo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joaquim Camargo hit a great ball. Murilo Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murilo Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Julião Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nélson Ruas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Higino Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Menezes was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Nélson Ruas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nélson Ruas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristiano Soveral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Boaventura hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. During the 88th minute of the match Murilo Valente completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Murilo Valente a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of SC Rouqueira booed when Suimo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Julião Cavaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
