Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Leal got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 36 minutes, Alfredo Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ermezinde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Basílio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Borba having to interfere. Alfredo Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Aleixo made a kick off. Alfredo Aleixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Mariano Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
