Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Pires kicked off to start the match. Filipe Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Boza's Sérgio Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Abreu in the 10th minute of play. Adolfo Pedroso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jaime Henriques's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nuno Branco firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jaime Henriques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Porto in the 20th minute of play forced SC Boza's goalkeeper Sérgio Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Porto in the 23rd minute of play. Sérgio Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes SC Boza got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Gueifão. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Aleixo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Penalonga FC's Jorge Miranda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of SC Boza booed when Penalonga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joaquim Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Penalonga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Abreu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Boza's zone, Joaquim Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Trindade came out of the goal and Joaquim Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Joaquim Abreu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Penalonga FC's zone, Manuel Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Branco came out of the goal and Manuel Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, SC Boza's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Abreu came free, but Sérgio Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manuel Pires came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Boza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Pires couldn't finish the play. Manuel Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nuno Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manuel Pires came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Boza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Pires couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Penalonga FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Veiga. Manuel Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Jaime Henriques notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Penalonga FC's Nuno Branco. Nuno Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquim Abreu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Manuel Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that SC Boza were the better team. SC Boza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
