The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filipe Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Abreu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Penalonga FC booed when União Do Forte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Penalonga FC's Joaquim Abreu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Kevin Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Porto in the 56th minute of the match.
