Serafim Eanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Igrejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Eanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafim Eanes to make the kick off. C.'s Wilson Igrejas. Wilson Igrejas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calmar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unidos ao Garrafão F. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
