Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Linhares kicked off to start the match. António Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Cristiano Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abibas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alberto Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Caires having to make a save. In the 24th minute Enzo Valadão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Feliteira's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Linhares came free, but António Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Castelo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Esteves to make the kick off. Bento Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joaquim Caires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Castelo Branco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Carlos Castelo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Feliteira's António Ferreira got control of the ball when Enzo Valadão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 played minutes Abibas FC got a freekick which was hit by Estevão Macena. When Bento Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Feliteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Esteves couldn't finish the play. António Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Valadão in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Feliteira's goalkeeper António Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Valadão. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Feliteira! António Ferreira had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Luís Pereira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 82nd minute Bento Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Caires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jorge Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Feliteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Antunes couldn't finish the play. Bento Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Caires having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Alberto Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feliteira's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Caires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abibas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
