The supporters of Fornos FC booed when SC Treixedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Fagundes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Faro got free with Tiago Mourinho in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Fagundes took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Moreira. Francisco Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Delgado was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Mourinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Delgado in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Fornos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Nascimento came free, but Francisco Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Treixedo! Éder Padilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Treixedo's Tiago Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Faro in the 86th minute of play. When Saúl Almeida was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in SC Treixedo's zone, Filipe Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Mourinho came out of the goal and Filipe Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Treixedo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fornos FC had controlled the match.
